The Porter Retreat - Hot Tub

We absolutely loved our stay here. Property as spotless and the host was quick to respond to questions. One thing I recommend is actually walking around the property. We found a bunch of artifacts from the original Porter Springs Hotel. We will definitely be back!

The house was absolutely perfect for our trip. It was extremely clean and very private. The fire pit area was a nice touch. We had some bear friends that came to visit us one morning. The host was very responsive when we had questions. I highly recommend this property if you’re staying in the area.

We absolutely loved our stay at porter retreat home! The house was so clean and we loved everything about the house. It was less than 10 min to Dukes falls which was breath taking and the outdoor patio with the tv sitting area we took advantage of. It was the reset we were looking for!

We had a wonderful stay! The home is clearly new construction, beautifully maintained, very clean, and has a spacious open-concept layout. The host was responsive and communicated well throughout our stay.We invited another couple to join us for a birthday celebration, and the layout was perfect for spending quality time together. The Retreat had plenty of games and all the amenities we needed.If you're traveling with others and like having private downtime, note that there are no TVs in the bedrooms.A couple of suggestions I would make are; adding roller shades to the lower picture windows and doors to provide more privacy at night. The daytime views of the surrounding nature is beautiful, but after dark it's easy to see inside when the lights are on which was a little uncomfortable. Second, pavers leading to the fire pit would also make access easier.Our only issues were that the bluetooth speaker stopped working on the second day, and the living room TV wouldn't turn on during our last evening, which was disappointing since we had planned a movie night.Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. It's a beautiful, relaxing home, and everyone agreed we'd gladly return. I would definitely recommend this property.

My husband and Iabsolutely love staying at the Porter retreat. We loved the glass windows from floor to ceiling so we could see the beautiful forest outside in all directions. We will definitely stay there again.
